I'm gonna just attach a couple of recent photos. They were all taken when we were in Arizona for Mom's funeral. Can you tell her favorite color was red? Remember I'm still learing here. The eight of us Lora (front), Coleen, Charlotte and Lila (center) Art, Dee, Jack and Me.
And then all of us with our sweeties
All of us that were able to make it to Arizona.
What an awesome family I have.
The Grands and Greats gave "Grandma" one heck of a send off. The sky in Northern Arizona is sooo.... blue.
This looks like it was a beautiful send off for your mom. I loved the red balloons in honor of her. I am sorry about your loss.
I am the lady who has a blog with an entry on quilting that you commented on a while back. I re-read your comment on my blog today and thought of you. How is your quilting going? yes8isenuf.blogspot.com
About Me…. Well the beginning is always a very good place to start. I was born on November 5, 1955 to La Ree and Walter Dodge, in Northridge, California. I am the 6th of 9 children. We are 6 girls and 3 boys. I think I was around one-year-old when my family moved to Garden Grove, Ca. We pretty much lived all over the Orange County, California after that. My parents divorced around my 8th grade year and Mom moved to Santa Ana, which is probably what I would consider my hometown, if I ever had to pin it down to just one place. I graduated from Santa Ana High School in 1973. I got married in November 1974. In February of 1976 I gave birth to my one and only child, Jessica. Jessica being an only child was pretty much the center of my life then. So it only seems appropriate that her twin 6-year-old girls are the center of my life today. Okay, I think that’s all for now.
